Where is Nemacolin Woodlands Resort?

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is located in the Laurel Highlands Mountains in Pennsylvania on 2,800 acres. The 335-room resort features the acclaimed Woodlands Spa; 36 holes of golf on the traditional Links course, the Pete Dye-designed Mystic Rock, and the David Leadbetter Golf Academy; The Shooting Academy, a 30-station sporting clays facility; the Off-Road Driving Academy; an Adventure Center featuring a ropes course, a climbing wall, mountain biking and hiking trails; an Equestrian Center; and 14 specialty shops. Nemacolin also has an impressive and diverse collection of 14 restaurants and lounges; and the Hardy Family Art Collection valued at more than $45 million.

How do I get to Nemacolin?

Nemacolin is about a 3 hour drive from Washington, D.C. Directions to Nemacolin can be found on its web site.

What is the closest airport to Nemacolin?

Pittsburgh International Airport is the closest major airport. Nemacolin does have its own landing strip for small private planes. For private landing instructions, contact Nemacolin’s airport at 724-329-6121.

What is the attire?

Business casual attire is encouraged for all meetings. Regular business attire (jacket and tie) is required only for the Chairman’s Banquet.

What activities are spouses/guests allowed to attend?

Spouses/guests can sign up for any of the activities. There is an event created especially for spouses and guests on Monday afternoon. Spouses and guests are invited to all dinners.

Who should attend the conference?

Chief executive officers and other senior-level executives will benefit from the expert-led panels and discussions and find great value in the program. Business development, finance, human resources, communications, and contracts professionals also will find the program valuable.

How many people attend the conference?

The conference gathers about 400 attendees each year, many of them c-suite executives.

Are there other hotels nearby if I don’t want to stay at Nemacolin?

The Summit Inn is approximately 10 minutes from Nemacolin. For reservations, please call 1-800-433-8594 and make sure to let them know you are with the PSC group (Room rates from $120-140). Rooms should be reserved by September 15. The Summit Inn is a historic hotel, therefore, they do not have an elevator and they have a limited number of lobby level rooms. Special requests, for those who cannot negotiate stairs, should be indicated at the time the reservation is made.

I need special assistance, can you accommodate my needs?

PSC staff will do everything possible to accommodate all conference registrants. Guests requiring special assistance should call Nemacolin prior to their arrival.

I have special food needs, can you accommodate them?

Vegetarian options are always available at PSC-sponsored functions; however, those who require kosher meals or who have special dietary requirements are asked to call Melissa Phillips at 703-875-8059 by September 18.

Golf Tournament

What time does golf start?

The tournament begins at noon sharp, but you must be on the course by 11:45 a.m. and preferably by 11:30 a.m.

Where is the course?

Can I drive there? Is there parking?
You can drive yourself and there is parking at the course.

Is lunch provided?

Yes. 

Is there a shuttle to the course?

Yes, shuttle will be departing the main entrance of Resort, and circling back until tournament starts (approx every 15 minutes). Shuttle will also provide transportation after the tournament.

Is there an alternate activity to the Golf Tournament? 

Yes, there is a wine tasting and a nature hike at Ohiopyle State Park.
