On September 18, join the Professional Services Council for a discussion on Control Systems Security with Daryl Haegley from the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations, and Environment.

Every day companies depend on many Control Systems (CS); most are now networked and potentially easily exploitable. Damage to or compromise of any control system may be a business or mission disabler. Perhaps more concerning and debilitating is when the control system is used as a gateway into the organization's information system or the organization's broader global information networks. Yet identifying those responsible for securing those networks remains a challenge by policy, standards and technical expertise. What are the unique cyber intelligence and security requirements for control systems and how do they differ from those used to secure traditional information systems (such as email systems)? How are DoD, DoE and businesses addressing the challenges to assure the security of operations, critical infrastructure and mission continuity of control systems?

About the Speaker:
