Solers designed, developed, and deployed NOAA’s Environmental Satellite Processing and Distribution System (ESPDS). ESPDS provides near real-time access to critical weather products enabling forecasters to better protect people and property through more timely and accurate weather prediction. In the last five years, advanced satellite tracking has provided residents in storm-affected areas an additional 12 hours of notice to evacuate.
