One key to PSC’s unique effectiveness is
the breadth of its base. PSC represents the entire spectrum
of the government professional and technical services
industry. Our member companies provide services of virtually
every kind to every agency of the federal government,
including information technology, research and development,
scientific, international development, operations and
maintenance, high-end consulting, educational, health and
social services. Approximately 70% of PSC’s members work in
the national and/or homeland security markets, but fully half
of the members are equally engaged in the civilian agencies.
As a result, PSC’s advocacy and member support activities are
focused across the federal government.
Moreover, PSC’s membership, like the
industry PSC serves, is diverse in company size as well.
Roughly 30% of PSC’s members are large companies (revenues
greater than $1billion), another 25% to 30% are smaller (with
revenue below $100 million), and the remainder are among the
leaders in the middle market. At PSC, our goal is to support
and serve all of our members, regardless of size or business
focus. We also seek to find common ground and consensus
solutions on issues that might otherwise divide our industry.
PSC's broad base of membership is indeed one of its greatest
strengths. No matter where your company fits in the government
professional and technical services market, PSC offers a value-added
investment.
