PSC's members are involved. They represent the association's
intellectual capital and its greatest strength. Through
PSC's committees, task forces and working groups, PSC's members
drive the agenda. This enables PSC to accomplish a great
deal while maintaining a lean staff and a modest dues
structure. Additionally, PSC's ambitious program agenda,
including regular Dialogue Luncheons with senior government
officials, the highly tailored Senior Executive Series, and
PSC's Annual Conference, provide the membership with extensive
opportunities to network, share information, and build business
alliances.
PSC's
members recognize that working collaboratively with the
government customer on broad issues of mutual importance is
just as important as aggressive policy advocacy. To that end,
PSC has substantive partnerships with each of the Military
Departments, the contract administration, audit, and finance
agencies at the Department of Defense, the Department of Health
& Human Services, the General Services Administration, and the
US Agency for International Development, and new partnerships
are continuously being developed. Each partnership is designed
to enable PSC members and their government counterparts to work
together in the identification of solutions that will help the
government better achieve its mission and facilitate a robust
and productive business environment.
PSC now offers
web-casting and teleconferencing services for most Committee,
Task Force, and Working Group meetings.
