Formed at the request of the Secretary of the Navy and the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations, it serves as the Navy’s principal private sector contact on major issues associated with business transformation. Works particularly with the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations (Logistics and Fleet Readiness) to identify barriers to, and opportunities for, achieving the transformation goals of the Secretary of the Navy and the Chief of Naval Operations.
