PSC leads the services sector’s initiatives on contract finance and cash flow issues, having established formal partnerships with the Defense Contract Audit Agency, the Defense Contract Management Agency, and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. Largely because of PSC’s efforts, the last Defense Authorization Bill included legislation requiring services contractors to be paid interest on late payments from the government – a right previously enjoyed only by hardware providers.
