Council of International Development Companies Meeting

Council of International Development Companies Meeting

Council of International Development Companies

  June 21, 2018
Noon - 2 p.m.
PSC Offices
(4401 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA 22203)

As a follow-on to the Guiding Principles on Preventing Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse that CIDC issued on June 6, we will use the normally allotted for our monthly meeting on June 21 to host a special program. We will host a panel of experts from members companies to discuss issues and best practices aimed at preventing harassment in the workplace and misconduct in the field.  Members are strongly encouraged to send the individual from their firm who is responsible for implementing workforce policies and practices so they may both hear from others as well as share their own experiences – both successes and challenges.  Because we anticipate a high turnout, we are asking firms to limit in-person participation to no more than two individuals.

About CIDC
The PSC Council of International Development Companies (CIDC) creates a dynamic, sustainable advocacy platform for U.S. development companies. The CIDC engages in thought leadership and high-level dialogue with various U.S. federal agencies and stakeholders involved in implementing U.S. foreign assistance programs through monthly committee meetings, an annual conference and other special events. In addition to advocating, educating and facilitating engagement on pressing international development issues, CIDC also informs and advocates on contracting, regulatory, legislative, business process and business development issues.
