Webinar: Changes in the Security Clearance Landscape

Webinar: Changes in the Security Clearance Landscape

September 27, 2018
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
**Webinar**

The 700,000 background investigation cases in process and the unacceptably long wait times for a security clearance are urgent matters for PSC member companies, while undermining national security and the missions of most federal agencies they support. PSC has been working to ensure our member companies can build and retain workforces to meet the government’s mission needs by prioritizing solutions to the current and near-term security clearance problem. Our advocacy on the Hill and with the Executive Branch is helping to drive dramatic changes to the government-wide security clearance processes.

Join PSC on September 27 from 2pm to 3pm for an exclusive PSC member company only webinar to learn how recent legislative actions and executive decisions are shaping the future of security clearances and how to leverage those changes:

Topics to be covered include:
  • The transfer of background investigation from the National Background Investigations Bureau to the Department of Defense
  • Reporting requirements and required agency plans for the backlog, wait times, reciprocity and continuous evaluation;
  • The provisions in several National Defense Authorization Acts and the Intelligence Authorization Act; and
  • The Trusted Workforce 2.0 Initiative.
