FFRDCs have performed valuable and important work for the government in their core areas of responsibility. However, as a result of changes to federal budget dynamics and the industrial base that supports the government, PSC is continuing its review of the proper role of FFRDCs in the Federal market, particularly as they have expanded their engagement well beyond the core missions they were created to perform. This meeting is an opportunity to provide input and make recommendations for an updated PSC assessment of the work of FFRDCs.
