Join us at PSC’s next virtual meeting of the Contract Finance & Cash Flow Committee on August 12 to hear from Cassandra McDuff, Director, Accounts Payable MOCAS, DFAS – Columbus and Brandi McGough, Deputy Director, Accounts Payable MOCAS, DFAS-Columbus. Our guest speakers will discuss a variety of topics including accelerated payments efforts for small and other than small business, the shift to increased progress payment rate, and the impact on DFAS and contractors of DFARS 204.7013 on partial quantity disbursements. Additional topics for the meeting are welcome and may be sent to Chvotkin@pscouncil.org.

DESCRIPTION

The Contract Finance and Cash Flow Committee identifies issues and initiates advocacy actions on a range of issues associated with government contract payments/financing, cost accounting standards and cost principles, government audit policy, and contract reconciliation. Oversees PSC's partnership with DCMA, DCAA, and DFAS.

Alan L. Chvotkin is the executive vice president and counsel of the Professional Services Council, the principal national trade association of the government technology and professional services industry, where he is responsible for the association’s legislative and regulatory policy activity. He has been at PSC since 2001.


ABOUT ABPC
The Acquisition and Business Policy Council is the principal body for developing PSC’s positions and taking action on cross-cutting, major acquisition policy issues. Its focus encompasses wide-ranging issues such as multiple award and schedules contracts, the role of contractors, federal acquisition workforce development, commerciality, contract type and competitiveness, requirements development and evaluation strategies, alternative acquisition models, internal and external communication, and industrial base health and competition. The Acquisition and Business Policy Council fosters formal and informal partnerships with policymakers and allied stakeholders, and works toward an outcome-oriented federal services acquisition process through regular meetings, timely programs, and various other avenues.
