PSC will convene our CMMC Task Force virtually to discuss implementation issues regarding CMMC. We do not plan to have a government speaker for this meeting and will use a virtual platform to enable interaction between members.

ABOUT THE CMMC TASK FORCE
The DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program has significant implications for contractors who perform work on contracts with the Department of Defense. The purpose of this Task Force is to collect data and feedback from member companies to support PSC advocacy efforts across all branches of government. This cross-functional task force is ideal for members who perform on contracts with DoD and will be involved with implementation of CMMC certification at their respective companies.

Ryan P. McDermott
Vice President, Defense and Intelligence 
Ryan McDermott is the Vice President for Defense and Intelligence for the Professional Services Council (PSC). Prior to PSC, he served as Principal Director for Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy in the Department of Defense. Ryan is a graduate of the United States Military Academy. He holds a MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business and a MA in Security Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.

ABOUT D&IC

The Defense and Intelligence Council (D&IC) leads PSC’s activities relating to the intelligence community, the military services, and the defense agencies. The D&IC is the principal venue for PSC members to interface with key government officials, provide input on acquisition policy issues, and shape upcoming procurements in the defense and intelligence sectors toward an outcome-oriented federal services acquisition process through regular meetings, timely programs, and various other avenues.
