DESCRIPTION

In October, the Federal Acquisition Regulatory (FAR) Council released an advance notice of proposed rulemaking to ensure that major Federal agency procurements minimize the risk of climate change. DoD, GSA, and NASA are seeking public input on a potential FAR amendment with comments due by December 14, 2021. Please join PSC staff at a member-only meeting on December 3 from 10-11am. We will discuss PSC's approach to this request for input, including but not limited to issues such as: climate-related financial risk; reporting requirements; implications for proposals and / or contract performance; and possible impacts on small businesses. Registrants are encouraged to send questions to PSC ahead of the meeting at policy@pscouncil.org.
