PSC Supports President Trump’s Intent to Nominate Emily Murphy as GSA Administrator

September 5, 2017

Arlington, V.A. (Sept. 5, 2017) - PSC is encouraged by President Trump’s intention to nominate Emily Webster Murphy as Administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA). This position is critically important to the government and to the federal contracting industry, and Emily’s long and successful work at both GSA and in the private sector makes her well qualified for this important role.

“I’ve known and worked with Ms. Murphy for 20 years, and I’m confident her extensive leadership as a senior staff member on two House committees, her experience as a government contractor general counsel, and her in-depth work in procurement policy and acquisition will serve her well as the new Administrator of GSA,” said Alan Chvotkin, PSC executive vice president and counsel. “We look forward to President Trump swiftly expediting her nomination, and urge prompt confirmation action by the Senate.”
