Council of International Development Companies Meeting

Council of International Development Companies

  April 19, 2018
Noon - 2 p.m.
PSC Offices
(4401 Wilson Blvd. Arlington, VA 22203)

On April 19, CIDC will hear from key officials from USAID’s Action Alliance to Prevent Sexual Misconduct.  The Alliance was established by Administrator Green and announced at his March 9 meeting with the Implementing Partner community.  We will be briefed by those charged with leading the two Alliance streams -- misconduct in the workplace and in the field -- regarding the agency’s latest thoughts on how to address these issues and how to ensure malefactors are not able to shift from one IP to another. At the same time, they will be interested in hearing from CIDC members regarding their best practices and lessons learned.

About the CIDC
The PSC Council of International Development Companies (CIDC) creates a dynamic, sustainable advocacy platform for U.S. development companies. The CIDC engages in thought leadership and high-level dialogue with various U.S. federal agencies and stakeholders involved in implementing U.S. foreign assistance programs through monthly committee meetings, an annual conference and other special events. In addition to advocating, educating and facilitating engagement on pressing international development issues, CIDC also informs and advocates on contracting, regulatory, legislative, business process and business development issues.
