Join PSC for our next Government Affairs Committee meeting this Friday to hear from Kristine Lam, Deputy Staff Director for the House Oversight and Reform Subcommittee on Government Operations. Kristin handles information technology, procurement, and oversight of federal agencies  and also works for Rep. Gerry Connolly’s personal office helping the constituents of Virginia’s 11th District. 
 
DESCRIPTION 
The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) meets the first Friday of every month and is often referred to as “the best information exchange in town.” Each meeting features a special government guest discussing, on a non-attribution basis, one or more critical legislative, regulatory, or other policy issues. The second half of each meeting is the information exchange, where up-to-date information and materials on relevant issues and recent policy developments are disseminated and discussed.

Chvotkin is the executive vice president and counsel of the Professional Services Council, the principal national trade association of the government technology and professional services industry, where he is responsible for the association’s legislative and regulatory policy activity. He has been at PSC since 2001.
