PSC Member Briefing on FY26 NDAA Mark-Ups

On July 11, the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) announced that its version of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26 NDAA) had passed out of committee. On July 15, House Armed Services Committee also passed its version of the FY26 NDAA.

In this member briefing, PSC staff will review the SASC- and HASC-passed versions of the defense policy bill. How do the versions differ? What key issues are we tracking? What concerns might industry have? What surprises, if any, arose during the mark-up process? And what does the way ahead look like regarding floor time, additional amendments, conference, and final passage?
