PSC Hosts Aug. 15 Webinar on Government Shutdown and CR |
WHAT: Unless full Fiscal Year 2019 appropriations are enacted before Sept. 30, some or all of the government will have to be funded temporarily under a Continuing Resolution (CR) or risk a shutdown of all but essential operations. Both scenarios present unique challenges and specialized rules for federal contractors, and it is essential that companies understand the implications and take proactive steps NOW to be prepared.
Media are invited to join PSC on Aug. 15 at Noon for a webinar to learn what companies should do before, during, and after a CR or government shutdown.
Topics include:
• How should companies adjust strategy, execution, and communication under a CR?
• What should companies ask their customers, and what should companies tell their employees, and when?
• What actions should a contractor take to prepare for a government shutdown?
• What must a contractor do if a shutdown occurs?
• What actions are necessary after a shutdown?
WHEN: Wed., Aug. 15, 2018, Noon - 1:30 p.m.
FEATURED SPEAKERS:
David J. Berteau, PSC President & CEO
Alan Chvotkin,
PSC Executive Vice President and Counsel
REGISTER: This webinar is intended for companies who do business with the federal government, but interested media are invited to participate. Please email PSC Media Relations Director Ashlei Stevens to confirm your attendance
