PSC Condemns Capitol Violence, Calls for Peaceful Transfer of Power

Jan. 6, 2021 (Arlington, VA) - PSC President and CEO David Berteau strongly condemned today’s invasion of the Capitol by armed and violent rioters and called for the rapid restoration of law and order and the completion of the Electoral College certification.

“Congress needs to be fully protected as it executes perhaps its most important function under the Constitution: reflecting the will of the American people by confirming the results of their votes,” said Berteau.

He urged the president to call a stop to any further violence and to support the peaceful transfer of power.

“At PSC, we believe in productive political discourse and in a bipartisan approach to governing. We reject any resort to violence, threatened or real.  We believe it is time for all Americans to support the transition to the next administration, starting now,” Berteau added.

PSC is a bipartisan association of federal government contractors committed to helping the government operate more efficiently and effectively to deliver services and security across America and around the world.
