PSC Elects Roger Krone, Carey Smith, and John Heller to 2020 Board Leadership
Arlington, Va. (Dec. 12, 2019)
– The Professional Services Council (PSC) Board of Directors has elected
Roger Krone, Chairman and CEO of Leidos
as Chairman of the Board of Directors for 2020. Krone is joined by
Parsons President and COO Carey Smith
as Vice Chair and
John Heller, CEO of PAE
, as Secretary of the Board of Directors.
“The professional services sector is an essential partner with the federal government in virtually all aspects of its operations – PSC plays a critical role by being a clear and consistent voice for those companies on important issues,” said Leidos Chairman & CEO Roger Krone. “I look forward to serving in the chair capacity in 2020, working with other member companies to expand and strengthen our collective ability to reach decision makers, shape responses to ongoing challenges, and increase engagement with government agencies and other stakeholders.”
The PSC Board of Directors consists of 80 executives from member companies who have shown leadership in the industry and commitment to PSC’s goals for building a fair and competitive federal contracting marketplace. They are nominated by their peers and reflect the breadth and diversity of PSC member companies. As leaders of the Board’s Executive Committee, Krone, Smith, and Heller will shape the agenda and governance for the association, working closely with PSC leadership and staff to accomplish the association’s goals and objectives.
“This is such an important time for our industry,” said PSC President and CEO David J. Berteau. “The challenges of federal budgets and late appropriations and continued revisions to the policies and regulations that govern our members’ work mean that our efforts as an association are more important than ever before. With the experience and knowledge of Roger, Carey, and John, we will continue to advance our industry in helping serve our government customers and the American people. I am grateful for their leadership and willingness to serve.
Krone, Smith, and Heller were elected at the Board of Directors meeting in December, and will serve for one year.
