Jean Tarascio

Sr. Manager, Events


Jean is responsible for managing the coordination and execution of PSC’s events, including the Annual Conference, member meetings and a variety of programs in between. If you’ve ever called to request information about an event, had questions about registration or were looking to discuss sponsorship opportunities, chances are you spoke with Jean! She values great customer service and engaging with members via email, phone or in person is one of her favorite aspects of the job. 

Prior to joining PSC in 2011, she spent time working for a government contractor and in the hospitality industry. More recently, she held a part-time position with LivingSocial, leading patrons and participating in anything from white water rafting and zip lining to trapeze and yoga classes. But, her favorite experience was when she dedicating a year to Americorps National Civilian Community Corps after graduation. She worked on a variety of projects involved with land conservation and after-school programs, but the most impactful was assisting with the post-Katrina rebuilding efforts on the Gulf Coast.  

She graduated from Virginia Tech, where she received me Bachelors in International Relations. In her free time, Jean enjoys health, fitness, festivals and all outdoor activities. If it’s a nice day, chances are you can catch her hiking out in the mountains, on a bike trail or hitting the road for a mini getaway.
