Technology Council
The Technology Council is PSC’s principal arm for developing PSC’s positions and taking action on crosscutting technology issues from cybersecurity, to cloud computing, as-a-service acquisition and beyond. With technology increasingly permeating the professional services sector, PSC created the Technology Council and acquired the CIO Survey and Vision Forecast Conference earlier this year to better map the market and forecast trends affecting your business.
The Technology Council's key goals and objectives are to:
- Shape key procurements, such as NS2020 and Alliant 2.
- Raise the awareness and adoption of technology through driving more efficient and effective IT acquisition; shaping the role of federal CTO and the next version of FITARA; and seeking working capital funds.
- Fill cybersecurity policy gaps.
- Increase the use of commercial best practices by delivering a Cloud Computing report.
- Promote the industry’s contribution and value by building on PSC thought leadership through research, op-eds, columns, speaking engagements, testimony and social media.
- Facilitate connectivity and collaboration with government technology officials.
- Develop agendas to inform and influence the next administration.
