It begins with our leadership team maintaining an open-door policy to provide access for one-on-one counsel and support throughout the entire employment life cycle. Watermark invests extra effort to assist our veterans with tasks they may not have had much experience with while in service such as, interpreting their paycheck, detailed explanations of benefits options, and demonstrations and training for utilization of our technology platforms including email, employee resource portal, and timekeeping system.  

Watermark also offers a comprehensive leadership and management program for all site supervisors and veteran personnel. Our program focuses on two core areas to help veterans with a successful acclimation to the civilian workforce. We also provide a Defense Contracting course where we provide the contract requirements of each contract, the importance of the leadership deliverables for the client, hours management, and any unique requirements impacting the employee’s contribution to the effort. Additionally, all Watermark personnel are encouraged to seek certification in career related subjects such as SHRM, PMP, CPP, PE, etc., by offering a full-cost reimbursement program for position/contract related certifications.
