Discussion W/ IT Modernization Centers of Excellence

Join PSC on March 5 for an informal roundtable discussion with GSA’s Bob DeLuca, Executive Director, and Omid Ghaffari-Tabrizi, Acquisition Lead, from the IT Modernization Centers of Excellence. 

A key element of the President’s focus on accelerating innovation to improve how government operates, the IT Modernization Centers of Excellence (CoE) initiative aims to leverage private sector innovation and government services while centralizing best practices and expertise. GSA and USDA lead five CoEs focused on Cloud Adoption, Contact Center, Customer Experience, Data Analytics, and Infrastructure Optimization. GSA is also helping the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to establish a CoE. In February, GSA issued an RFI for an upcoming BPA to acquire initial discovery and assessment services for CoEs using an approach that allows for making awards rapidly and obtaining IT services on an “as-needed” basis. 

This roundtable discussion offers an opportunity to share your perspectives as industry partners with federal agencies and get an update on the latest IT Modernization CoE efforts to improve the public’s experience with government.
