This update will primarily focus on updates from the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Chief Procurement Officer on recent and upcoming changes across the Department:

Topics will include organizational changes, new small business priorities, DHS FY26 and One Big Beautiful Bill Act contract obligation numbers, new financial thresholds for contract review and approval, what to expect with DHS’ upcoming transition from APFS to 4SITE, how DHS is preparing for the FAR Overhaul changes, new training initiatives from the Procurement Innovation Lab, implementation of the firm fixed price executive order, a recently released CSOP opportunity for procurement tools, and vendor engagement with the Components.  This session will also highlight recent and upcoming PSC activities across civilian agencies, including NASA, DOJ, DOE, HHS, VA, and CBP.
