Despite recent state legislation legalizing the use of marijuana, pot use is still illegal on federal facilities.  This presentation and discussion will cover:

•         The intersection between state laws legalizing marijuana use and federal contracts;
•         The current status of federal law and “Drug-Free Workplace” clauses in federal contracts;
•         The implications for employees that are obtaining and retaining security clearances; and
•         Best practices for HR professionals and employers on drug policy.

Join us, Nov 7 from 8:30 – 10:00 am, for a discussion with Alan Symonette, President and Owner of Symonette ADR Services, to discuss the best drug policy and investigation practices for government contractors.  Mr. Symonette is an accomplished labor arbitrator with work in the federal market, the National Football League and private organizations.  Breakfast and networking will begin at 8:00 am.
