DESCRIPTION 
PSC will convene our CMMC Task Force virtually to discuss implementation issues regarding CMMC. Joining the discussion will be Ty Schieber, Chairman of the CMMC Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB).

The CMMC-AB establishes and oversees a qualified, trained, and high-fidelity community of assessors that can deliver consistent and informative assessments to participating organizations against a defined set of controls/best practices within the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program. ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Ty Schieber
Board Chairman
Ty Schieber currently serves as a Senior Director, Executive Education for the University of Virginia, Darden School Foundation. He brings to the CMMC AB Chairman role over 32 years of leading people, developing teams, and delivering results in both the public and private sectors during varied roles as a solutions engineer, business & community leader, elected local government official, and Marine Corps officer.

Vice President, Defense and Intelligence 
Ryan P. McDermott is the Vice President for Defense and Intelligence for the Professional Services Council (PSC) where he manages the Defense and Intelligence Council as well as leads advocacy of legislative proposals that support contractors focused on both sectors.


ABOUT THE CMMC TASK FORCE
The DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program has significant implications for contractors who perform work on contracts with the Department of Defense. The purpose of this Task Force is to collect data and feedback from member companies to support PSC advocacy efforts across all branches of government. This cross-functional task force is ideal for members who perform on contracts with DoD and will be involved with implementation of CMMC certification at their respective companies.
