PSC Border Tour

MEETING DESCRIPTION
Join us for a two-day members-only tour offering behind-the-scenes access to U.S. border and maritime operations. The program will feature visits with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)—and potentially the U.S. Coast Guard—at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, as well as with CBP’s Office of Field Operations at the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa Ports of Entry and with the Border Patrol along the U.S.-Mexico land border near San Diego. 

Participants will take part in operational briefings, facility tours, technology demonstrations, and direct discussions with frontline officers and agents. This unique experience is designed to give members deeper insight into the complex challenges and mission needs at both land and sea borders—insight that informs business planning, investment, and the development of effective solutions. Along the way, you’ll also have opportunities to network with peers and connect with potential partners

REGISTRATION FEE: $1950
Due to the limited number of spots available (27), registration is initially limited to 1 representative per member company and is on a first come, first served basis. Payment is due at the time of registration. Up to two additional company representatives can sign up on the wait list here. Members on the wait list do not have to pay until they are ensured a spot on the tour. On September 26, if space is available, PSC will notify those on the wait list that they may register. 
  

Registration Fee Covers:
Two-day Border Tour
Administrative costs
Local transportation (coach bus to/from all briefings and from LA to San Diego)
Meals:
    Breakfast (Oct 15–16)
    Lunch (Oct 15–16)
    Dinner (Oct 15)
    Snacks and beverages on the bus (Oct 15–16)

Not Included in Registration Fee:
Roundtrip airfare
Hotel accommodations (room blocks will be available at both locations; details provided after registration)
Ground transportation between airport and hotel (Long Beach arrival / San Diego departure)
Dinner on Oct 16


SECURITY INFORMATION: To attend, CBP requires advance security clearance for all participants. After you register, you’ll receive a security form. Please complete and return this security form as soon as possible to ensure your access is approved. Please note: If you were born abroad and later became a naturalized US Citizen, a copy of the first page of your US Passport is required and if you are not a US Citizen, there is a lengthier process to receive approval. Please let us know ASAP if this will potentially impact your company.


CANCELLATION POLICY: The $1950 fee is fully refundable if you cancel the trip before September 30. After this date, we cannot guarantee full refunds. The amount refunded will depend on how much of your fee has been obligated under a contract and what we can recoup.  While we understand your plans may change, because we are required to send security information to CBP two weeks in advance, switching out representatives from your member company may not be feasible after October 1
