DESCRIPTION
PSC’s Business and Industry Development Working Group will host a breakfast discussion with small business regulatory expert Sam Le to explore emerging policy and compliance developments shaping the federal small business contracting landscape. The conversation will examine the increased scrutiny surrounding SBA 8(a) program audits, including how contractors can prepare for reviews and manage risk as agencies and oversight bodies place greater attention on eligibility, performance, and program integrity. The discussion will also address how small businesses should respond to the recently implemented recertification rule under the HUBZone Program Updates and Clarifications, along with broader regulatory considerations tied to the ongoing Revolutionary FAR Overhaul, particularly anticipated changes affecting FAR Parts 8, 10, and 19. Participants may also explore evolving government perceptions of joint ventures and how these structures influence small business participation, teaming strategies, and compliance expectations across federal procurements
