Madeline Hayes is the Membership Associate for the Professional Services Council, where she is responsible for leading recruitment initiatives across the organization. She closely collaborates on the Membership, Marketing, & Sponsorship (MMS) team to recruit and onboard new members. She develops membership-focused content across marketing channels, manages the membership database, sets fiscal goals and reports out on regularly on membership progress analytics, and supports MMS initiatives as PSC works hard to provide high-level value to its members.
During her time at PSC, Maddie has helped the membership team meet and exceed its fiscal goal by 12% in 2024, connected members to the valuable policy resources and networking opportunities available through PSC, developed new internal onboarding processing initiatives to enhance membership experience, as well as update organization-wide communication tools and processes in partnership with the marketing team.
Prior to PSC, she worked at two consulting firms, one in marketing and public relations, and the other in association management. In her public relations role, her team won PR Week's 2022 Healthcare & Pharma Communications Award for Best Pharma Product Launch - Non-OTC. Her list of clients, prior to and during her time at PSC, include Fortune 500 companies in the federal contracting and pharmaceutical space, non-profits, and associations. Maddie found her passion for government & health initiatives during her time as a reporter on "The Brown & White", Lehigh University's award-winning student newspaper.
She earned her Bachelor of Art & Science in English, Concentration Journalism, from Lehigh University, where she played on the club rugby team, was a member of the Greek Organization Zeta Tau Alpha, and starred in multiple campus theater productions as a member of the Mustard & Cheese Society. She currently resides in Washington, DC, and is a passionate reader, writer, and bike-rider.
