PSC Urges OMB to Restore Policy Accelerating Small Business Payments

By PSC staff | April 3, 2018

In December, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) allowed a critical policy, which ensures small business subcontractors are paid in a timely manner, to lapse. Since it expired, legislation has been introduced that would permanently restore prompt payments to small business primes and small business subcontractors. PSC believes that OMB should not wait for Congress to act and sent OMB Director Mick Mulvaney a letter on March 30, urging immediate renewal the lapsed policy.
