IRS EDOS Industry Day

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is hosting a virtual Pre Proposal Industry Day on Nov. 18, 2021 from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. EST to provide an overview of the “Enterprise Development, Operations Services (EDOS)” that will enable the IRS to obtain the necessary Development & Modernization & Enhancements (DME) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services to meet IRS legislative required modernization efforts in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The purpose of this event is to share and receive information plus request clarification to current approach. It does not commit the government to any contractual agreements or arrangements.

The goal of EDOS is to bring Application Development (AD) applications under one contract. The intent is to enhance DME services while reducing O&M of those applications. Scope enhancements will be defined to modernize applications in parallel with executing annual legislative demands and supporting filing season. The level of effort for this agreement is anticipated to have a total contract ceiling of $2,600,000,000 over a seven year period of performance. This event is intended to raise awareness of the technology and skills that will be anticipated to implement the EDOS.

The IRS anticipates a solicitation for EDOS on or about June 2022. We request that industry please submit all questions/comments for consideration NLT Nov. 2, 2021 by noon but we will still accept questions/comments after that date. We look forward to an engaging and informative session.

Please fill out the form below to submit questions/comments and to nominate someone from your company to attend the IRS EDOS Industry Day. Please send any questions directly to Christian Larsen at larsen@pscouncil.org.
