PSC Congratulates Member Firm KANAVA International on Appointment To Key USAID Advisory Committee

May 3, 2018

Arlington, V.A. (May 3, 2018) — PSC’s Executive Vice President and Counsel Alan Chvotkin issued the following statement today:

“PSC applauds the appointment of Carol Yee, Chief Operating Officer of KANAVA International, to the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Assistance (ACVFA). ACVFA members are appointed by USAID and work with the agency to provide the underpinning for cooperation between the public and private sectors in U.S. foreign assistance programs.”

“KANAVA is a women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, and Ms. Yee serves on the Executive Advisory Board of PSC’s Council of International Development Companies (CIDC).  Based on her years of work in international development and supporting USAID around the world, we know she will bring valuable insights and perspectives to the ACVFA discussions.”

“This appointment is particularly fitting given that this is Small Business Week. PSC looks forward to continue working with USAID to include the perspectives of its CIDC members in adding value to the important discussions around U.S. foreign assistance.”
