PSC Statement on the Passing of CACI Executive Chairman Jack London |
Arlington, Va. (Jan. 21, 2021) The Professional Services Council (PSC) is saddened by the death of Jack London, Executive Chairman of
CACI, on January 20.
“Our condolences and prayers go to all who knew Jack and to the entire CACI workforce,” said David J. Berteau, president and CEO of PSC. “I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Jack London for many years. His commitment to and success in meeting the needs of the federal government through contracts was such a driving force in improving national security and government operations across agencies.”
“CACI has been a strong, active member company of PSC for more than two decades, and they have led and supported many initiatives that have produced benefits to the government services industry and its customer agencies,” Berteau continued. “Jack’s vision and leadership led to much of CACI’s success. In particular, he understood the importance of people as the key resource of a professional services company, and he led them with integrity.”
Jack London was elected to the Government Contracts Hall of Fame at the Greater Washington Government Contractors Award ceremony in 2012.
