PSC Praises Historic Defense Modernization Win in FY26 NDAA
Arlington, Va. (December 17, 2025) -- The Professional Services Council (PSC) celebrates the passage of the FY26 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and commends the House and Senate Armed Services Committees for their bipartisan, bicameral achievement to advance meaningful acquisition reform and accelerate the Department’s ability to utilize critical capabilities.
This legislation will benefit companies of all sizes seeking to support the defense of our country by increasing the speed at which innovative technologies and critical solutions are delivered to the men and women of the U.S. military. Accelerating the acquisition process is essential to military readiness and technological superiority, and the NDAA takes important steps toward achieving that goal.
“Speed of acquisition is a strategic advantage” said PSC CEO James Carroll. “When threats move at the speed of technology, procurement can't move at the speed of bureaucracy. This year’s NDAA better positions the Department to work with innovative companies of all sizes.”
PSC and its member companies appreciate the thoughtful attention and detail reflected in the bill, particularly by reducing barriers to entry and eliminating unnecessary regulatory and compliance burdens on industry. These reforms will improve outcomes and encourage innovation for the Department and the warfighter.
PSC President Stephanie Sanok Kostro added, “We look forward to continuing our work with Congress and the Department to ensure our military has access to the best equipment, services, and solutions available.”
