NASA Reverse Industry Day
PSC will host a reverse industry day for the NASA acquisition workforce at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC, on April 24. Speakers from Amentum, CGI Federal, Clinch River Services, Deloitte, FMP Consulting, the Institute for Digital Environment Advancement, KBR, and Lockheed Martin will present in one of two different sessions, including a mock role play of a company deciding whether to bid on a NASA procurement and a panel of industry discussing what it is like to do business with NASA.

FEMA Seeking Public Input on FEMA Disaster Responses
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Review Council issued a request for information for public input and comments to gain an understanding of their experience with FEMA during disasters. The feedback received will ensure that the FEMA Review Council's findings and recommendations are informed by a broad spectrum of perspectives, experiences, and ideas. The deadline to respond is May 15, 2025. Potential questions for consideration include:
1. Describe your experience with FEMA's response to your request for assistance. Was FEMA's response timely and efficient to assist in your recovery?
2. Describe your overall experience with FEMA. Was your interaction with FEMA positive or negative? Please fully explain your experience.
3. By what means did you apply for benefits—was it online, in person, or over the phone? Did you encounter any difficulties?
4. Were local or state authorities or private groups able to provide assistance in a more timely or efficient way than FEMA? Please fully describe your experience.
5. What recommendations would you like the Council to make?
OMB RFI on Deregulation
On April 11, OMB has issued an RFI to solicit ideas for deregulation from across the country. Commenters should identify rules to be rescinded and provide detailed reasons for their rescission. OMB invites comments about any and all regulations currently in effect. Comments are due on May 12, 2025. PSC plans to submit comments. Please expect a request for member input in the coming days.
