 		 Our guest speakers for this month's CIDC meeting will be Brian Corry, Acting Deputy Vice President, Contracts and Administration and Lona Stoll, Deputy Vice President for Sector Operations, The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).  The MCC disburses 80% of its funding through international procurements that are managed by our partner countries through organizations called Millennium Challenge Accounts (MCAs). These procurements follow MCC Program Procurement Guidelines, and are overseen by our Department of Compact Operations’ Program Procurement Group. MCC is interested in increasing the number of U.S. firms competing for these opportunities as historically U.S. firms win 2/3rd of the time when they bid on MCA procurements.  MCC would like to engage in a discussion with the Professional Services Council on what may be barriers to entry for firms that may otherwise be interested in competing for these opportunities.
