Arlington, V.A. (Aug. 3, 2017)— The Professional Services Council applauds the Senate’s unanimous confirmation of former Ambassador Mark Green as the new Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

“The Senate’s unanimous decision to confirm Ambassador Mark Green affirms that his deep experience and his extensive track record of leadership in the international development field have prepared him well for this new role.  His recent work as the head of the International Republican Institute and his years of service as the U.S. Ambassador to Tanzania make him very familiar with the vital contributions of U.S. development contractors who are implementing foreign assistance programs," said PSC President and CEO David Berteau.
